Pluma Add-on - Terms of Use
Last updated and effective date: 27 Mar 2025
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Pluma Gmail Add-on ("the Service"). By installing or using Pluma, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of the Service
Pluma is a Gmail Add-on that helps content creators analyze and better understand sponsorship or spam emails. It uses AI-based classification to label emails and provide short explanations based on their content.
2. How the Add-on Works
Pluma only processes emails that you manually choose to analyze. When you click the "Analyze email" button, the content of that single email is securely sent to our backend, which may communicate with OpenAI’s API to generate a response. The result is displayed in your Gmail sidebar.
3. No Guarantees or Warranties
Pluma uses AI to analyze emails, which may not always be accurate. We do not guarantee that the labels or explanations provided are 100% correct or complete. You are responsible for verifying any interpretation or decision made based on the output.
4. Data Handling
We store analyzed email content and the corresponding classification results for the purpose of monitoring and improving the system. We do not store or associate this data with your identity, and we do not share it with third parties.
For more details, please read our Privacy Policy.
5. Ownership and Intellectual Property
All intellectual property related to the add-on, including its design, backend, and branding, belongs to the developers of Pluma. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without permission.
6. Changes and Termination
We may update these Terms or the functionality of the add-on at any time. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the add-on without notice in case of abuse or technical concerns.
